In this session we will explore the wonderful tools that are available online for teachers to use with students to engage them in creative and collaborative projects. As well as tools to build engaging presentation and create assessments that can collect data in entertaining and innovative new ways. Focusing on tools like Nearpod, Kahoot, Quizizz, Padlet, Google Maps, Pear Deck, VoiceThread and many, many more. Participants will leave with new knowledge and projects that they can turn around and use immediately in their classroom.
In this session participants will learn, engage and collaborate with all the essential Google tools available through G- Suite for Education (previously called Google Apps for Education). We will overview the basic functions and features of all the tools available in the Google program. From creating Documents, Slides and Spreadsheets to creating basics forms and setting up a Google Classroom, participants will leave with the basic knowledge needed to get their students involved in this creative, collaborative and innovative classroom tool.
